These two world-renowned architects and authors explore issues of contextualism in modern America and lead us on a tour of their recent and current work.
보스톤 건축가 협회와 보스톤 공립 도서관의 강연회 시리즈 중의 하나입니다. 위치는 Copley Sqaure 에 있는 Boson Public Library 의 Rabb Lecture Hall 입니다. 시간은 오후 6시입니다.
Copley Square 는 보스톤에 일반(?)관광오는 사람들이 꼭 들리는 곳입니다만, 건축여행을 한다고 해도 이곳엔 볼거리가 많죠. 우선 강연회가 열리는 도서관은 구관과 신관으로 구성되어 있는데, 구관은 McKim, Mead and White, 신관은 Philip Johnson 이 디자인 했습니다. I.M.Pei 의 John Hancock Tower 도 근처에 있습니다. 기회가 되면 John Hancock Tower와 주변부 건물에 대해 글을 올리도록 하겠습니다. 1월 중에 보스톤 여행계획이 있으신 분들은 참고하세요. ^^
